With the announcement of the Grand Theft Auto IV for the PlayStation 3 as well as the Xbox 360 by Rock Star Studio, it was preety clear that there would be a vast competition between Sony and Microsoft. Now Eurogamer.net has reported that data from Chart-Track indicates that sales of Xbox 360 are eighteen per cent ahead of the PS3 in the UK

Gamers in the UK prefer Microsoft’s next generation console over Sony’s PS3. Some 57% of the total sales of GTA IV are for the Xbox 360, and that of the PS3 is 43%. That means, out of the already sold 1.3 million copies of GTA IV sold in the UK, more than 750,000 copies have been sold for the Xbox 360. Chart-Track’s study indicates that the sales of Xbox 360 have increased a whopping forty-seven percent while that of the PS3 have risen just eight percent since the release of GTA IV.
Atari is going to relaunch the series “Alone in the Dark” and it going to come out on June 23. Taking the fear to a new level, the next-gen Alone in the Dark features the macabre style of the series played with new gameplay mechanics and a broader-reaching, action-packed play style. Taking a cue from episodic television, each chapter starts with a “Previously on…” recap, just in case you missed/ forgot something and ends on a cliffhanger.
